I've spent almost 20 years directing the visual identity of some of New York's most-read editorial brands. As Senior Visuals Director at New York Media, I lead design and illustration across The Cut, Vulture, New York Magazine, Grub Street, Curbed, The Strategist, and Intelligencer, overseeing everything from story-level art direction to cross-brand social visual strategy.
The work I love most is the part that's hardest to describe: knowing what an image should feel like before it exists, and bringing a team along to that vision. It's equal parts instinct, collaboration, and stubbornness.
Outside of work I'm planning the next trip abroad with my family, or in the ceramics studio, where after over a decade I've made peace with staying an amateur.
